Frestons will launch this summer at the heart of Notting Dale campus, offering a carefully chosen seasonal menu, catering services and a focus on serving great food in an environmentally sustainable way. The contemporary space has been conceived by interior design studio Hart Miller Designs, whose mission is to create a social heart for the campus where good things happen, both on and around the table. Their previous projects have included café space for Tate and Origins Coffee.
A fantastic selection of salads, sandwiches, bagels and snacks, plus a hot world food option daily will all be freshly prepared in-house using seasonal ingredients to reduce environmental impact. Award-winning Caveman Blend Coffee will be on offer, as well as delicious locally sourced tea that’s packed with flavour. Ela, Tim and the Frestons team are committed to excellent service and reducing, reusing and recycling. They will be introducing a sustainable cup initiative and water bottle scheme, as well as injecting a proportion of profits back into environmental and sustainability initiatives later in 2020.
