Bringing together three distinct visions of the urban
Curator Tom Morton has brought together the stunning works of three leading international artists at Frestonia Gallery’s latest group exhibition, each presenting their own unique vision of a cultural megalopolis.
The collection exhibits Charles Avery, Dana Lixenberg and Karen Russo’s very different mediums from black and white expressive photography, to raw charcoal drawings and hand-crafted furniture and glassware.
Tom has said the exhibition is a showcase where each constituent ‘city’ has their own complex civic identities, whilst sharing (sometimes surprising) correspondences and similarities that overlap with not only their near neighbours, but with many other cities, real and imagined, from across human history.
The exhibition has been extended until Saturday 7th November so make sure to experience it before it closes.
