Hello Big Group and Bonjour Biogroup.
Award-winning integrated marketing agency Big Group have signed a 10 year lease to take 10,000 sq ft and a private terrace on the third floor of The George Building.
Keeping their current W11 postcode, the move is a short distance from their existing premises on Princedale Road in Holland Park whilst the group also has offices in Bath, Berkshire and Amsterdam.
With the fit-out due to start this month, Big Group will add to The George Building’s impressive tenant roster including fashion powerhouse Stella McCartney, award-winning architects Bogle Architects and leaders in audio-visual design, Twisted Pear.
Pilcher London and Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of Adena Property Investments to secure the deal. 23,000 sq ft of flexible, contemporary office space now remains in the building across the second and first floors.
A major player in French medical biology, Biogroup is made up of more than 700 medical biology sites throughout France and have chosen to base themselves in Notting Dale to extend their reach to the UK and London. A 3-year lease was signed for nearly 5,000 sq ft on the first floor of The Studio Building and with a fit-out already under way the business hopes to be in and operational by mid-December. With a £900m turnover, Biogroup is the leading group of medical biology in France with its medical analysis laboratories owned exclusively by medical biologists, pharmacists and doctors who provide routine and specialised examinations.
The deal was agreed with Frost Meadowcroft and Cushman & Wakefield acting on behalf of Adena Property Investments and sees all floors in The Studio Building now occupied with just two plug-and-play studio style spaces of 700 sq ft remaining on the second floor.
Biogroup will join existing occupiers of the The Studio Building; world-leading art material producers Colart, acclaimed interior designer Rita Konig and luxury fashion brand Penelope Chilvers.
“We are delighted to welcome Biogroup and Big Group to Notting Dale. With the newly finished Breaker's Place affirming the campus’ unique character and focus on art, their addition will only build on the diversity and innovation of our existing occupiers. We can't wait to see what our new tenants do with the space and look forward to growing and developing the campus further in the new year.”
