Celebrated fashion designer Julien Macdonald OBE has found a dazzling new home at Studio Y by Spacemade, the vibrant new workspace dedicated to the fashion and beauty industries in the heart of West London.
Macdonald will take 10 desks across two bright, stylish offices within the 21,476 sq ft Studio Y, located in the iconic Yellow Building at Notting Dale Campus. The new base will serve as the creative headquarters for his upcoming London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, which will debut in February.
Speaking about the move, Julien Macdonald said:
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be using Studio Y by Spacemade as my new London hub. Having a space that feels alive with creativity and collaboration is so inspiring. Studio Y isn’t just a workspace — it’s a buzzing community of brilliant minds. It’s the perfect place to dream big, design boldly, and bring my next Fashion Week collection to life surrounded by like-minded creatives.”
Jonny Rosenblatt, co-founder of Spacemade, added:
“There’s an incredible energy building around industry-focused workspaces, where creativity truly flourishes when people with shared passions come together. Hale House has shown how powerful that can be for HealthTech, and Studio Y brings that same spirit to fashion and beauty. Having Julien Macdonald join us is a huge endorsement of what we’re creating — a home for imagination, innovation, and style.”
Peter Simon, founder of Monsoon and Accessorize and owner of Notting Dale Campus, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Spacemade and Studio Y to the Yellow Building — it’s the perfect stage for fashion’s brightest talents. This space captures the creative energy and flair that make West London such a dynamic hub for innovation and design.”
